The convenient place to park in the city
World Square is a large centrally located facility in Sydney’s CBD. Owned by Arcadia and ISPT and managed by JLL, the facility includes a mix of retail shopping, restaurants, residential and office space. The car parking facilities comprise 520 bays across 6 levels and service both residential and public customers.
Positioning its facility as the convenient place to park JLL management was committed to ensuring this was true and approached Park Agility with three key areas to improve:
• visibility of available car parking spaces
• actionable bay utilisation data
• management of overstays
JLL’s chosen solution for these challenges was the installation of Park Agility’s Parking Guidance Solution (PGS). Completed within two months, the Park Agility PGS was up and running in September 2018. With over 50 highly visible signs installed, parking customers now have excellent way finding signage enabling them to find an available car parking bay within minutes, every time.
Traffic flow has been vastly optimised saving time, fuel and reducing pollution and JLL management now experience significantly fewer car park complaints and incident reporting.
In addition, the Sense IQ Management System provides World Square with access to accurate, detailed parking utilisation data that can be used to help optimise the management of overstays and the parking asset as a whole.
